Punjab Government has issued strict instructions regarding summer vacations and summer camps in government and private schools. According to the latest notification, all schools must remain closed during the vacation period and no summer camp or physical academic activity will be allowed without official permission.

All government and private schools are advised to strictly follow the Punjab Government summer vacation instructions. No summer camps, physical classes, school events or academic activities are allowed during the notified vacation period without official permission.
Authorities may take strict action against schools violating government directions, including inspections, legal proceedings, school sealing and cancellation of licenses according to official rules and regulations.
According to the official notification issued by the District Education Authority Rawalpindi, summer vacations will be observed from 22 May 2026 to 23 August 2026. During this period, private schools are not allowed to conduct physical classes, summer camps, examinations, ceremonies or any co-curricular activities inside school premises.
The notification further states that no student should be called to school during vacations. Monitoring teams and education officers have been directed to conduct inspections and ensure strict implementation of government orders.
Authorities have warned that strict action may be taken against schools violating the notification, including legal proceedings, school sealing and cancellation of licenses according to government rules.
